This IWA Women's Division matchup was the first singles meeting in IWA ring between Daizee Haze and Lacey. The two would go on to battle one another in a series of matches throughout most of the remainder of the year. The referee for the match is a fellow Women's Division wrestler herself, Mickie Knuckles. Lacey would later in the year go on to be crowned the first IWA Women's Champion.
