Cincinnati Red took the early advantage of Empire Wrestling Federation's opening match on the company's inaugural show. After working the arm of Brian Rodgers in the opening minutes, Red was able to roll up Rodgers in a school-boy pin attempt. After much complaining from Rodgers to the referee that Red was either pulling his tights or hair, (neither were true) Rodgers was able to fight back to even the match up with Red.
