NWA-Wildside presents a 3-way match is for the NWA-Jr. Championship featuring Slim J versus Jimmy Rave versus Jeremy Lopez!

All three of these wrestlers are some of the younger, newer wrestlers to NWA. They are all looking to make their mark in NWA so they can move on to successful careers. Their focus now, though, is the NWA JR Championship. Who will take this belt and make a significant mark in their belt on the way to the top?

Rick Michaels vs. ICEBERG

NWA-Wildside presents a match featuring Rick Michaels versus IceBerg!

Both of the men in this match are decorated professional wrestlers. Iceberg has a title history with the W*ING Hardcore title (Japan), NWA Wildside Heavyweight title, and the NWA Wildside Tag Team titles. Rick Michaels is no slouch either, he has held the NWA Wildside Heavyweight title, NWA World Tag Team titles, NWA Beat the Champ title, and the NWA Wildside United States title.

Both of these men being the champs that they are, this should be a very interesting and hard hitting match.

David Young vs. ICEBERG

092102iceberg_young.jpg

We start with Young and Iceberg brawling around.... slowly. Iceberg gets the upperhand outside of the ring and tosses Young into the ring for the first time in the match. Iceberg stomps him... slowly... and picks him up... slowly. Vertical suplex by Iceberg and he covers... slowly... for 2. Iceberg slugs away. I've seen some slow wrestlers in my day but this is bad. BIG FAT LEGDROP gets 2, Young's foot is on the ropes. Iceberg punches away and looks for a big boot, but Young sloppily blocks it with a kick of his own. Young kicks Iceberg's leg out of his leg but whiffs on a shining enziguri.

Bull Buchanan (with Jeff G. Bailey) vs. Iceberg

Buchanan subbed for Justice, who was called back to IWA Puerto Rico where he works under a mask as Abyss. Buchanan is a big man and a competent worker. Too bad nobody much cares about him at the NWA Arena. Huge pop and loud chants for Iceberg. The heat unfortunately died as the match progressed. Iceberg caught Buchanan as he came off the top and hit a monstrous belly to belly suplex for a near fall. Buchanan wrapped Iceberg's knee around the ringpost and went to work on it. At one point, Bailey whacked Iceberg with his shoe and Iceberg just glared at him.

Caprice Coleman and Jeremy V vs. Rainman and Azrael

A great ultra stiff match. This totally blew away anything that's been happening in the Wildside tag team division lately. Match opened as a furious four way. It was a battle between Azraels lethal kicks and Coleman's quick hands. Coleman decked Azrael with a kick and hit a springboard leg lariat. Azrael pickled Coleman with a dazzling series of kicks. The Elite started putting it to Coleman. Rainman hit a lariat the like of which has rarely been seen since the days of Stan Hansen. Azrael hit the double knee that put Gabriel out of action.

Salvatore Rinauro vs. Daizee Haze

This match was to earn the final slot in the six person match for the NWA Wildside junior title. They had a surprisingly good wrestling match. Haze can work and they smartly kept most of it on the mat. Rinauro stayed away from doing any striking. Haze was way over with the women in the crowd, not that she fared too badly with the men. The females popped huge when Haze took Rinauro down. Haze did a cool legtrip facebuster. Rinauro offered to take the bottom position amateur style. Haze put him in a pinning predicament with an Oklahoma roll.
