This was a semi-final round match in a tournament All Pro Wrestling held in the summer of 2002 to crown a new Universal Heavyweight Champion. It featured two of independent wrestling's most talented wrestlers, American Dragon taking on Chad Collyer, who at the time was under a developmental contract with the WWE.
