Pro Wrestling Elite’s Diamond Division brings fans a mixed tag-team match featuring the lovely Alicia teaming with TNA X-Division sensation Jay Lethal versus Cindy Rodgers and her tag-team partner of choice Chris Idol
The two women start things out. They exchange some arm and wrist holds and lock, but neither comes away with any kind of offense or advantage. Alicia seems to be timid and scared when she’s not in control of the match. Through her cheating ways, Alicia takes over on offense and tags in Lethal so he can have some fun punishing Rodgers. Lethal is just about to drive Rodgers into the mat with a piledriver when her tag partner makes the save and nails Lethal with a double axe handle to his back.
Once Idol gets his chance in the ring, the action picks up a bit, it’s too bad the live audience is so quiet or else this match would have had a much more exciting feel. Idol looks like a little kid in the ring and wrestles like one too. Lethal is really the star of this match. At one point when Idol is attempting a brain buster, Lethal reverses it, and suplexes the two to the outside of the ring and they crash to the floor.
