IWA Mid South presents a special women’s match for the NWA Midwest/IWA Mid South Women’s Championship. Mercedes Martinez puts her title on the line as she faces one of the toughest women in IWA Mid South as well as professional wrestling today, Mickie Knuckles.

These two wasted no time getting their match underway. From the moment the bell rang fans were eager to see these two women get down and dirty. After an initial lock up, the two began a chopping and forearm battle to see which one could hit the other the hardest. They were absolutely brutal. After several minutes of the two exchanging suplexes, punches, kicks, and pin attempts, MsChif wandered out to the ringside area to get a closer look at the match.

When Knuckles was about to pin Martinez and win the title, MsChif pulled Knuckles out of the ring and began to destroy her face, quite literally. After sending her into the posts multiple times causing her to bleed, she took off her spike chest protector and began driving the spikes into Knuckles already busted open face. The referee then called for the bell because of the interference. MsChif then crawled into the ring only to be met with a spear from Martinez. The referee then called for the bell again and it was announced the match would continue as Martinez vs. MsChif.

What follows next is anyone’s guess at this point. Would Martinez be able to successfully defend her women’s title after already battling Knuckles for several minutes already? Certainly she was at a disadvantage as she’d prepared mentally as well as physically to face Knuckles, not a pissed off, well rested and hungry MsChif. With a prime opportunity like this for MsChif, would she be able to walk out of the 8th Anniversary show as the new women’s champion?
