No time was wasted in getting to this match. As the two remaining competitors in the battle royal, each earned a spot in the tournament, but neither gal was given the opportunity to rest or even catch her breath. As soon as the two were the one ones left in the ring, a referee jumped in, rang the bell and the first official tournament match of the 2003 Women’s Elite 8 began.
This was a rematch of sorts from the previous year. The first round match from the 2002 tournament was Dally vs. Stock, known then as Griffin. This was a much different match than the previous years. Dally must have really focused and trained hard over the year because she really shows some great improvement. She was able to get in a lot more impressive offensive maneuvers unlike in their first match. Stock also improved greatly over the year having toured both Canada and Mexico.
