We’ve got our first semi-final round match of the 2002 WXW Elite 8 women’s tournament. It’s Mercedes Martinez taking on Griffin. Griffin has really put forth a great effort already gaining victories over Valentina and Jessica Dally. Martinez. Also a very tough fighter has already battled Katarina Heiss.
From the opening bell, these two just began to tear each other apart. Martinez took the early offense with an arm drag, hip toss, and a dropkick. Griffin answered back with her own series of an arm drag, hip toss, and dropkick. This was probably the most competitive match of the tournament as both girls really shows some fire in this match not willing to give up an easy victory. Only one can ultimately win the tournament though. Which would it be?
