Well, it had been said before that JJ Perez is the best "opening-match" wrestler in APW history, but if this didn't solidify that fact, nothing will. The opening match for the Internet Title was truly unbelieveable, as JJ Perez & B-Boy slugged it out for a full 40 MINUTES, and gave the fans one of the most explosive matches to ever be held in this building. This match will be remembered for years to come as a classic in which B-Boy hit everything that he had on JJ, but the challenger just kept coming back. Both men worked on each others leg throughout the course of this marathon, and the finish came about 40 minutes in, when the two stood in the middle of the ring exchanging blows, until JJ Perez came out of nowhere with a flying forearm that was enough to knock B-Boy out for the three count.

A hard-fought grueling match that took a lot out of both men, and recieved a standing ovation from the fans. I don't know what to say about JJ Perez since his return to APW, in 2004 he has really accomplished a lot already, and he will be one of the biggest names in the indys by the end of the year. Great match, one of the best in APW's history, and over the first 10 weeks of 2004, this is my pick for Match Of The Year so far!
