All Pro Wrestling presents another Universal Heavyweight Championship match between "Heart of Fire" Derek Sanders and Nova Scotia's own Scotty Aboot. Something was afoot with Aboot before the match even began because he wouldn't let referee Tom Castor to check his boots. Come to find out Aboot had a pair a brass knuckles stuffed in his boots. Castor threatened to DQ Aboot, but was assured there would be no more funny business in the match.
Sanders came ready for a fair fight, but Aboot had other plans. When Sanders had Aboot in a wrist lock, Aboot poked Sander's eyes and took him over in a headlock and began to work over his head and neck. Sanders fought back and trapped Aboot's head between his legs. Aboot wiggled around trying to escape and finally nipped up. Once up, he grabbed Sanders again and took him over in a head lock continuing to wrench on his neck. Sanders, again, wrapped his legs around Aboot's head taking him down. Aboot nipped up and went to take Sanders down with the headlock for a third time. This time Sanders lifted Aboot high in the air before dropping him to the mat with a back suplex.
Aboot really wants his chance to shine as APW Universal Champion and it's clear that he'll do whatever it takes to reach that goal, including cheat. Let's not forget about Sander's valet Payton was also at ringside for this bout. Would Aboot's cheating efforts lead to crowning a new champion in San Francisco that evening? What would Payton's involvement be? Will Sanders retain and keep the belt in California or would Scotty Aboot take the belt back to Canada and Nova Scotia?
