Extreme Canadian Championship Wrestling stars Memphis Raines and the legally blind Aaron Idol head off against each other for a shot at winning the fifth annual Pacific Cup Tournament.
This is the first round of the Fifth Annual Pacific Cup Tournament. The Pacific Cup was began in 2000 when ECCW promoter, Dave Republic, decided that since he was bringing in talent from IWA-Japan, ECW and NWA on a regular basis, why not bring in some of the best junior-heavyweights in the world and match them up against the best in Canada? So the Pacific Cup Tournament was born in 2000. Idol and Raines have a lot to strive for when previous PCT winners are stars such as Asian Cooger and American Dragon.
Will either of these men be the next Pacific Cup Champion?
