All Pro Wrestling proudly presents one of its most exciting matches that took place during 2006. The show at the King City fairgrounds is always one the most enjoyable shows of the year because the great King City fans are very vocal and love their wrestling, especially Lucha and the Mexican wrestlers that come to wrestle. This year APW’s 2006 version of La Migra (Border Patrol) had other plans for the fans of King City. La Migra # 3, also known to wrestling fans at MPT, took on Lucha Libre legend Rey Mysterio Sr. in an exiting and action packed bout that had King City fans on their feet from the opening bell.
Before the match even began the King City fans were very vocal in telling all of La Migra to “get out!” of King City and to leave them alone. They were strongly behind Mysterio and wanted nothing more than for him to teach MPT and the rest of La Migra a lesson they wouldn’t soon forget.
This was a fantastic match and Mysterio held his own very well against a much younger and faster MPT. He got out of the ring, into the crowd and not only took a lot of punishment but dished out it as well. While in the middle of 1500 screaming rabid Mexican wrestling fans, Mysterio gave MPT a loud chop and Irished whipped him toward the crowd and sent him flying and finally crashing through at least five rows of chairs.
Both men deserve a lot of credit for this match. MPT kept up and had a hell of a match with one of the legends of the wrestling business and Mysterio, even at 48 years old, put on a very gutsy and physical performance. Even though there could only be one victor, King City fans once again walked away the winners having just witnessed such a great match.
