All Pro Wrestling proudly presents another match from its big King City show held back in May 2006. The show at the King City fairgrounds is always one of the most exciting of the year because 1500 screaming and cheering fans pack the building to capacity. They love their Lucha and they love seeing Cheerleader Melissa wrestle. For the past several years, she’s been one of the most popular and received one of the loudest ovations from the crowd.
This year she took on rising APW superstar and Nova Scotia’s own Scotty Aboot in a battle of the sexes match that told one of the best stories of the night. Not feeling Melissa was even in the same as he, a man, Aboot was very hesitant to even get in the ring and engage in action with her. Once he did, he tried to befriend her, maybe in hopes of securing a date with Melissa. The crowd was certainly behind Melissa this night, which didn’t help Aboot’s game plan whatsoever.
Once the two actually did get to wrestling, Aboot employed all his dirtiest tricks he knew in an attempt to gain a cheap victory. He even scored a pin fall on Melissa by holding the ropes for leverage. Senior official Kristina McGraw ran out to ringside reversing the decision and restarting the match much to the joy and delight of the King City fans who wanted nothing more that to see Melissa beat the snot out of the cocky Aboot.
