*Golden Gate Invitational Opening Round*
This was an opening round match in BayAreaWrestling.com’s Golden Gate Invitational tournament between the “New Age Punisher” B-Boy and Rising Son, two of Southern California’s most talented wrestlers.
This was the best Rising Son match I've seen in 2002 aside from that Rev Pro six-man in March. Still, the match could have been a lot better. One thing I've noticed about Rising Son is his transitions aren't very good and he tends to get a little spotty at times. If he wants to be a spot machine, he should just go all out like Red; otherwise the follow-up to being dropped on your head shouldn't be a flip. I know I sound a little critical here, but still the match was really good. There was one spot in the match where B-Boy got Son into an airplane spin on the outside and cracked his head right up against the wall the cut Son open right above his eye.
