**Internet Title Match**
Everybody wanted to see a rematch from their fantastic match in Bakersfield just a week prior, including fans and management. Both were originally scheduled to wrestle someone else, but when neither of their scheduled opponents showed up to the show, everybody’s wishes were answered, and a rematch for the Internet Championship was made.
The action began just as hot as it did in Bakersfield. Neither was able to gain any real ground over the other in the opening minutes of the contest. MPT was able to spin out of a Boston Crab attempt by JJ Perez. The two then reversed out of every lock and hold imaginable. The crowd was really divided and started a dueling “Let’s go JJ/MPT” chants. Would MPT finally be able to take out Perez and win his first championship in APW or would Mr. APW himself come out on the winning end again?
