*Internet Title Match*
Since joining the APW roster in 2005, MPT has impressed a lot of people including fans, management and even fellow wrestlers. Now is his chance to shine and showcase his abilities when he goes one-on-one with the Internet Champion, JJ Perez.
Perez had the Bakersfield fans in his corner from the opening bell. That didn't hinder the determination of MPT one bit. The match began with a lot of mat work. Both men really impressed the Bakersfield crown with their reversals of virtually every lock and hold their foe threw at them. Eventually Perez was able to catch MPT with a single leg pick drag which allowed Perez to go to work on MPT's knee and leg. At one point he even gets him in a figure-four leg lock in the middle of the ring.
This was a great match that really impressed both the fans and management at APW. Hopefully this won't be the last time the two meet in the squared circle.
