All Pro Wrestling superstar, JJ Perez, comes up against ECCW's own MR2 in this Extreme Canadian Championship Wrestling match.
This is the first round of the Fifth Annual Pacific Cup Tournament. The Pacific Cup was began in 2000 when ECCW promoter, Dave Republic, decided that since he was bringing in talent from IWA-Japan, ECW and NWA on a regular basis, why not bring in some of the best junior-heavyweights in the world and match them up against the best in Canada? So the Pacific Cup Tournament was born in 2000. Perez and MR2 have a lot to strive for when previous PCT winners are stars such as Asian Cooger and American Dragon.
