Opening Round
ChickFight IV’s first match of the day was a brutal beatdown. Newcomer Carla Jade of Southern California was probably quite surprised and a little intimidated to find that she was taking on the "Latina Sensation", Mercedes Martinez, during her very first match in this tournament. Martinez is known as a powerhouse in the midwest and on the east coast, so her reputation preceded her when entering this match. This is both women’s first attempt at the ChickFight Tournament Championship but Mercedes already has a string of titles from IWA, WXW, GMW, and NECW. Carla has yet to earn a title but has the hunger to win, is this enough to triumph over Mercedes strength and experience? Check out this uneven display of power versus will.
