IWA Mid South brings fans another match from their big 8th anniversary show featuring TNA X-Division sensation “The Future” Chris Sabin taking on the young up and comer Matt Sydal.
Each was looking to make an impact on this special night for IWA Mid South, and neither was about to give up an easy victory to the other. The two got down to work quickly as each exchanged holds and locks. Sabin tried to focus on Sydal’s arm, but Sydal is so fast and crisp he was able to counter quickly and trap Sabin in a headlock. From there, the chess game really began. Sabin and Sydal are so talented and quick, that even their chain wrestling is highly enjoyable to watch. Sabin continued to work Sydal’s arm on the mat while both got some near falls, even in the early minutes of the match.
The action picked up a bit as the two began to step up their risk factor. Sabin gained an advantage after a spring board leg drop on Sydal who was tangled in the ropes. Sabin stayed the aggressor until Sydal countered an attempted suplex from the second turnbuckle with a leaping spinning heel kick.
With two athletes as talented as Chris Sabin and Matt Sydal on a show as big as IWA Mid South’s 8th anniversary show, a lot was definitely riding on this match. Its IWA’s “Wrestlemania,” would you want to go out a loser?
