Shimmer Women Athletes presents a tag-team grudge match of sorts between wrestling veterans Lexie Fyfe and Malia Hosaka taking on Cindy Rodgers and Lorelei Lee. At the last Shimmer event tapings, Lee pulled out an upset victory against the 19 year pro, Hosaka. After that match she proceeded to just beat the hell out of Lee with help from Fyfe. The two continued to stomp and choke her unmercifully until Rodgers came out to make the save. The two then went to Shimmer management demanding this tag match for the Vol. 4 tapings.
The crowd was clearly behind the team of Rodgers and Lee tonight which Fyfe and Hosaka didn’t care for one bit. When the referee was checking Lee and Rodgers, Fyfe and Hosaka wasted no time and began attacking the two, but as they were about to Irish whip the two partners into each other, Rodgers and Lee reversed the momentum and were able to hit both Hosaka and Fyfe with a pair of drop kicks.
Hosaka and Fyfe worked over Rodgers for most of the match isolating her away from her partner. Utilizing double team maneuvers and cheap tricks they were able to stay in control of much of the match. Would Rodgers be able to keep her team in the match or would the double team offense prove to be too much for Connecticut native?
