Shimmer Women Athletes is proud to present exclusively on ClickWrestle.com a special Shimmer 6-Way match that actually took place during a Ring of Honor (ROH) show back in March 2006. It featured six of the top female wrestlers in the U.S. in the same ring at the SAME TIME! Truly a dream match of sorts. It was Lacey vs. Rain vs. MsChif vs. Cheerleader Melissa vs. Daizee Haze vs. Allison Danger, first to score a pin fall or submission wins it all.
As soon as the opening bell rang, they each tried to roll up each other to score the quick pin fall; none succeeded. From there it turned into a whirlwind of action between the six girls. No tags were necessary but only two women were supposed to be in the ring at once. If one woman exits, another can come in, Lucha Libre like. Each took turns punishing the next. Haze took down MsChif with a head scissors, and then hit a big boot to Lacey’s face as she went down to do the splits. Danger chopped away at Lacey and delivered a curb kick to the back of her head. Rain caught Danger in an inverted DDT then proceeded to charge Melissa who tossed her out of the ring. Melissa was making her ROH debut as well with this match.
One of the biggest moments of the match came when 4 of the women were battling each other on the outside of the ring. MsChif climbed the turnbuckle and then superman, err, superwoman style flew spectacularly through the air and crashed down on the women below. Daizee Haze quickly followed suit also climbed the turnbuckle however she performed a moonsault onto the girls.
