When i started to think about the idea of putting matches available for subscription in a chronological order, what would happen if the person using the service missed a match for whatever reason. Then I figured they would be more inclined to pay full price for a download if they were getting the rest at bargain basment prices.

However it has ben a slow day at work today and I have refined my origional idea somewhat. Using Chickfight as the test subject, well 1 to 9 at least. What you could do with this series if you were to put them up for a subscription service is put Chickfight 1 up for the first month, one match available per day. So on Monday you put up the first quarterfinal match and then over the course of the week you put up each match in squence till the final match on Sunday. Then over the following three weeks you repeat this sequence of matches on the same days so if you miss a match you have another two or three opertunitys to catch up, it also gives other subscribers a chance to get a piece of the action. Then after four weeks you put the next show in the sequence up.

Now for the matter of price, on avarage the cost of a Chickfight DVD on the Chickfight website is $15. If you were to charge this amount for the monthly subscription service it would work out cheaper than buying the DVD version since your not paying P+P and living in the UK this would very much be a bonus as you don't have to wait for the delivery time. It also works out considerbly cheaper than downloading the matches on a single download basis. And any bonus content could be put up as individual downloads for subscribers as an incentive to sign up, at the moment I'm not 100% sure what is currently available on the site so I don't if this content is already available.

This plan works for the Chickfight series primarily because of the 8 Women tournament format having seven matches so it would need to be refined for other packages where match numbers differ, but it's a start. You might regret asking for additional ideas.

On another matter entirely I've just downloaded the Awesome Kong Global Domination Pack and one of the matches advertised is Kong vs Eden Black however the match I received was Kong vs Blue Nikita from the same show. Was this a one off mistake in my case or is that the match which is supposed to be in set, either way you might want to look into it.
